How we got the figuresÂ for the graphs?

This EU 2030 Carbon Calculator allows the calculation of the real greenhouse gas reduction effort by the EU in the period 2021 to 2030. It is based on the Conclusions of the European Council from October 2014 and reflects different options for their implementation currently discussed by Member States, the European Parliament and the European Commission.
